What this application is
Kairos is a private, single-operator tool. It runs on its operator's own computer and is used by one authorised Google account. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
What Google data it accesses
With the operator's consent, the application reads, and never writes, from the operator's own Google account:
- Gmail (read-only). Message headers, dates and short snippets from the operator's own mailbox, used to link correspondence to the companies the operator tracks. Message bodies are not stored beyond the snippet Gmail returns; nothing is sent.
- Google Drive (read-only). The operator's own documents, used to file notes and artefacts against those companies. Nothing is modified or shared.
Where the data lives
Everything is stored locally, in a database on the operator's own machine, and in backups the operator keeps in storage the operator controls. No data is transmitted to any third party, sold, used for advertising, or used to train models. The application uses Google data only to provide the features described above to the operator.
Kairos's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and revocation
Data stays until the operator deletes it. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access settings, after which the application can read nothing further; the operator can then delete every locally stored item.
Contact
Questions go to the developer contact listed on the application's Google consent screen.
